Anyone else experience issues with the cloth fabric in our 10th gen si ‘s ? Cause man I can just touch it and it gets dirty and I’m sick of it. Please share your alternatives, to either switch it out. Cover it with another fabric or clean it so it stays clean

My first mod was to switch those out for the insight pleather pieces, although you'd have to find an alternative for your differently-shaped door armrests

I bought on Ebay or Amazon, I don't remember, the synthetic leather pieces
cut for the console and the armrests.
I had them installed by an upholsterer because I'm not very good
at this kind of work.
It's very nice, clean and practical.

You will easily find the parts of the console. It's hard to find the armrest
parts for the coupe.
Be careful, sedan armrests don't fit on coupes.
You may have to have them made by the upolsterer.
It's more expensive but it's worth it.
Good luck.

What’s the alternative if you can’t replace the arm rests? I wanted to try some of the chemical guys products but can’t decide which one yet.

Nice. Have you swapped them out?
Yeah, at the same time I installed sound deadening and speakers.

Way, way more comfortable for my left elbow since I rest the tip of my elbow on the arm rest with my left hand on the wheel.

I'm less concerned about the center console because I usually rest my whole forearm down instead of concentrating all my weight on one point.

Also the OEM center console leather pieces cost a lot more and have white stitching :bs:

I'll grab a picture of them installed.

Just as an aside when I was shopping for a Civic, my original plan was the get a turbo and go with the cloth seats. The seats seemed OK but I couldn't believe how stupid/cheap Honda was to not have the touch points like the armrests covered in vinyl or pleather. The car I owned before this Civic was a Kia Forte SX. Even that car had cloth seats with vinyl covered armrests.

Anyway, that was the main reason I upgraded to an EX-L and I'm glad I did. Along with the leather, the power seat makes a huge difference as well.

Well aren't you fancy :p
Sure am! Lol

Truthfully, I'm always adjusting the seats on most of my drives because I have a hard time finding a really comfortable position.

I have the opposite problem: once I've found the seating position I like, I can never move the seat or else I will literally never find the same position again.

I hear you on that. And don't you hate it if you take it in for service and the service guy re-adjusts the seat to their position for the 300 foot drive to the service bay?
