I live in Canada and just drove home with a new 2017 Civic Coupe EX-T 6MT (Energy Green). Love it.
Anyhow, there was a whole fiasco about how the dealer is "required" to install the trim kit (rear and back and spoiler) which I didn't want. It was the last green coupe around here and I wanted it badly enough. In the end, it's my decision and yes I know it's on me; but I did complain to them about it because I really didn't want it, and it added a couple of grand to the sale price. They ended up coming down and offering me a "discount" on the extended warranty as a way to appease me (insert eye_roll here).
They're offering me the 4-year Honda Plus at $600+tax. Regular price (starting today) is $748+tax. It essentially extends the existing warranty by one year and allows me to purchase an extension later for less.
Any thoughts as to whether I should take it at that price?
