So I just got my 2019 Si Coupe about a week ago and I am hearing this tinny sound in the cabin when idling. I know exhausts make this sound BUT should I be hearing it in the cabin at idle? And has anyone else heard this?

I assume this is the stock exhaust? The tinny sound is pretty typical, once everything breaks in it will quiet down

Correct this is stock exhaust. Car has about 900 miles. Took it for a little road trip, thanks for your input!

No problem. Because it's a smaller turbocharged engine, it's going to make some noises as everything has to break in, plus if this is your first turbocharged DI engine it will sound a little dronnie. A lot of people are tempted to put in a performance exhaust or do "Exhaust deletes", I would advise stick with the stock exhaust, which is very quiet. That is unless you like loud

Agreed, the stock exhaust is sufficient for me as of now, maybe down the road I’ll swap exhaust but for now I want to keep it stock and running as it should!
