MagnaFlow Honda Civic Street Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System

Its meant for a coupe 1.5t ex, touring etc. Would it fit a 1.5 ex hatch with some modification to extend length? Thank you!

Hatchback has a shorter rear, so you don't need to extend it. If anything, the tips are going to stick out past your bumper about 3". Looks like a magnaflow exhaust, a friend has one installed on his hatchback, he had to bend and relocate the hanger, other than that it fit ok. He also cut down the exhaust tips because it did stick past the bumper too far for his taste.

Hey CavCat, just got done talking to my friend. He said he used a Magnaflow sedan exhaust, not the coupe. The coupe is about 1,25” shorter than the hatchback, so it still may work, but just to clarify what my friend said, he used a sedan exhaust, and had to shorten the tips. I’d suggest you take a tape measure if you check out the exhaust, I measured the factory hatchback exhaust from the front pipe flange to the back of the hanger and it’s 116.5“, Add another 7” for the exhaust tips to be flush with the diffuser. Compare that to the Magnaflow coupe exhaust and you’ll get an idea how close it will be to fitting your hatch.

If anything I have an exhaust guy that can add length to it if need be. Is it a decent exhaust for our cars though?

Hey gents. Picked up that magnaglow exhaust. Will get it installed Friday. It was on a 2016 Civic Coupe non SI. Would it need to be shortened or lengthened to go on my 2018 civic hatch? I paid 160 for it. Is it a nice upgrade vrs the stock?

You'll have to see how it matches up when you get it in the air. Don't think anyone will be able to fully tell you how it fits since most people just get the exhaust that already matches their model.

Will get it on tomorrow hopefully. From looking at this and a few posts, it seems the hatch and coupe are identical in size, only .1 of an inch off so hoping it will march up to my dual stock exhaust.

Well guys here it is. The civic coupe exhaust fits the hatch 90% perfect. Only thing we have to do is make a new hanger for the front. Hope this helps someone. What yall think? It sounds frekin amazing imho. Will post sound clips soon.

Do you hear any rattle from the exhaust at the Y bend? Is there a difference in ground clearance with this over stock? It looks like it sits lower.

No rattle whatsoever. It uses the same rear hangers. It does sit a bit lower but not bad.

It looks like the Y bend sits lower to the ground and directly touches the body, which is what I was worried about.

It's cool that a coupe exhaust fits an EX HB, so maybe all those EX owners finally have an option.
