I'm worried that the lower lip of the bumper might melt or be deformed because of the hot exhaust gases exiting the muffler.

Im cutting it tomorrow lol. Or just removing it altogether. We'll see.

So I just purchased an Invidia N1 exhaust for a coupe and installed it on a Non Sport Hatch. There is a piece you'll need to get welded on. Other than that it fit perfect. Also you will need a heat shield on the rear lip or heat shield.

So what is this piece that needs welding?

It's for the hanger in the front. Stock OE exhaust is an L and the Invidia has a straight piece.
