EXHAUST DRONE ISSUE HELP

Hi all,

So I bought a skunk2 universal muffler and swapped it with my OEM muffler, I absolutely love the look and sound. However, it drones A LOT at 1-2k rpm inside the cabin.....

Is there any way I can reduce this drone or tone it down a bit at least?

LMFAO HARD DAY AT WORK OVER THERE HUH BRO?

But for real yeah you need a resonator, the drone is basically hitting a resonance frequency so you need to "tune it out" by changing the frequency!

Ahhhh, ok. Yeah I think I’m going to get the UQ Resonator. My muffler shop said it might not do a difference unless it’s longer than the OEM Resonator though

They’re right. A longer resonator will definitely reduce the drone and may provide a deeper tone.

Did it? Having an issue with drone in the same RPM range, which sucks because my CVT likes to hang around that range...
