I went with the stage 2 Competition and 22lb flywheel combo. I haven’t installed it yet. Still waiting on a shipping notification for the kzcmc
You’ll love it trust me

Still using the dmf. No chatter, slight high rpm lockout, however it may just be a pedal adjustment.
Is it sprung? Depending on the website I see one thing or another. Exedy says that all of their stage 1 are sprung. Could you post some pictures of the real exedy stage 1?

No definitely not sprung. Both the stg 1 and stg 2 are unsprung rigid disks like the oe clutch. @86salmon will tell you his experience with a lighter weight smf.

@86salmon Hey!

How is your clutch holding up? Also, I didn’t realize you were running the MHI turbo upgrade for our car. Dude, you really do take the road less travelled! Lol that’s awesome! Looking forward to your update! ?

So far so good. Break in is just about done. It still grabs hard. Only chatters if you don't give it enough gas when taking off in first or reverse. The wife hates it lol

I'll start data logs again in another day or two!!!

Haha nice man! Glad it’s working it out for you. Also, how do you like the upgraded turbo?

May I ask what oil are you using with the MHI?

It's a hoot. Noticable differences with the race MAF and TIP installed

Honda 0w-20 so far. Next change I'll have an analysis done. Looking to switch to Liqui Moly 5w-30

Hell yeah! That’s awesome to hear! In the long run I may just purchase the MHI upgrade as well. You can’t beat oem reliability.

Last dyno run I did, I was very very heat soaked so it isn't a very good benchmark. Adding the race MAF and TIP added enough torque at 3500 to roast my stock clutch.

The EXEDY has a hair over 500 miles on it. I'm starting new logs this weekend and will get back on a dyno after this tune is done.
