Anyone install either the stage 1 or 2 Exedy clutch yet who can provide feedback? I'm starting to slip on running the 19.5/21.5 Ktuner map w/ only 9K miles and trying to figure out what route I want to go. Was thinking that the Exedy stage 1 would be a good option for a daily driver. Not looking to go for any additional power. Maybe the TSP stage 1 tune at some point, but that's all.
I got it installed. Exedy stage 2 with exedy single mass flywheel. Almost done breaking in since I don’t drive the car a lot but so far it’s holding fine with all my parts listed below in my signature area. Obviously aggressive but pedal is lighter than my fx350 which was complete shit. Doesn’t chatter surprisingly for me.
It is an unsprung 3 puck since they didn’t make any sprung options.

Thanks! How's the engagement with the SMF? I'm under the impression that ideally, either the clutch or flywheel should be a sprung unit, no? Any particular reason(s) you didn't stick w/ the OEM DMF?

Also, did you do the install yourself? How many hours did it take w/ dropping the subframe?

Stock oem dmf is shit. Yes it should be sprung but exedy reassured me it’s fine. So well see lol. Engagement is fine not too aggressive. This time around I had a shop install it. Took around 6-8 hours on a lift and yes subframe dropped

Holding up just fine. My other buddy just had the clutch installed too and he said everything felt great too. Although he sold the car a few days later for a stang lol

So where could one buy these clutches and flywheels?
Is it holding up well?

I haven't been able to find them, apart from a stage 1 on all4honda...

Thanks man!

May I know how much power you're getting out of that build of yours?

Would DMF + Stage 1 Exedy hold up the 27won power numbers (270-280whp) ?

I'm getting that much torque on stock DMF + Stock clutch on TSP Stage 1.... 386Nm. I thought you'd get more torque with the turbo...
I have taken good care of the clutch, so it doesn't slip yet, but it's on the limit.

Is your car a CVT?

Interesting...

6 speed manual Si. 91 California pump gas. Tsp stage 1 Si but you don’t have an Si makes around 280tq and 230whp. My #’s are just a simulated dyno graph based on my 3rd gear pull from 2300- to redline 6800 rpm. This is actually normal for 91 pump gas and on 93 pump you’ll see around 290whp and wtq. On flex fuel E35-40 you’ll see 330-340whp and torque around that too. W1 turbo has torque shifted way later as you can see on the graph vs a stock turbo which is better for the rods. I could care less about torque as that’s enough for pump gas and whp is way higher so it’s making power

Didn’t know EU honda sport had a tsp stage 1 tune since it’s not an Si. Also does you car have a L15B7 motor as we Si’s do in USA. Non Si motors have shown to not handle as much torque since rods are not as strong.
Guessing your running tsp stage 1 non si and not making as much torque

This is your same car type and running tsp stage 1 non si

It's almost the same engine as the B7 (slightly weaker rods). L15BA, same as in your sport models there I think. Mine is making 235hp (to the engine, not to the wheels) and 386Nm of torque .
have a few mods though. The rest will come in the next months.
