It is true. Which is why I asked how far.MY dealer told me that if you put the remote starter against your chin or head (it's got to be touching), your head amplifies the signal and you can start your car from a farther distance. I have no idea if it's true but he says they have tested it out.

Its a same thing if i want to have that remote in that link you have mentioned same as installing Compustar remote but Conpustar would be far better than Honda remote. I just called the Honda service and they said to install that remote you have mentioned they have to install the whole starter package. Parts and services are $700+.http://automobiles.honda.com/civic-sedan/accessories.aspx#electronic
May be an option. I think it gets longer range.
If your main concern is range why not go all in with vipers app?Its a same thing if i want to have that remote in that link you have mentioned same as installing Compustar remote but Conpustar would be far better than Honda remote. The video explain's it, I believe your body is acting as an antenna booster basicallylol. thats crazy. ... i wonder what makes that work...
Exactly IIRC the water in your head/body amplifies the signal, so if you were to have a container of water and put the remote up to the container, the same effect will happen. However carrying a bucket of water around might get tiresome compared to your headThe video explain's it, I believe your body is acting as an antenna booster basically
