Is there a reason to spend 2000 more for the touring over ex-l?

what are added features, are they worth the price diff at that point is what I'm wondering...
Honda Sensing (1k standalone on lower trims)
450-watt, 10-speaker audio
Rain-Sensing Wipers
Heated Rear Seats
LED Headlights, front turn signals, and integrated signals in mirrors
4-way power passenger seat
Chrome door pulls
Factory Garmin nav

I'm probably missing something. The extra features (not including HS) are worth more than 1k.

For me, the wheels on the Touring look so much nicer than the EX-T/EX-Ls

I went through this exercise and ended up with an EX-L. It really just a simple feature/price issue. What do you want, and how much do you want to spend? For me, everything I really wanted came in the EX-L, and the touring features were all bonuses that I could live without. I've had the EX-L now for about 3 months, and so far no regrets at all.

I was considering the EXL but the wheels are awful IMO. I also wanted the stock LED lights. Upgraded sound system and everything else was just a plus when the price difference was less than 2k for my 2016. I don't care about the rear passengers freezing their butts of but it's a nice throw-in.

How often do you buy a car? What will be the extra cost per month? Could not be happier with my Touring.

I'm in the same boat as @tts. I actually test drive two tourings before getting my ex-l. If you can afford the touring and want all the features get it. Otherwise I felt the ex-l had everything I needed. Love the car.

Eventually i plan on buying a new civic, i'm definitely going with the touring, the sound system rims and led headlights make it look so much better overall anything else is a plus.

but I'm still very unsure i was waiting for the SI but may end up choosing the sport touring been driving manual for years and thinking of switching to automatic

also if the SI can't come with the LED headlights the other headlights really turn me off... if i were to buy the SI I'm in the rare majority i would want it loaded

Touring is an awesome car. LED headlights, nicer rims, nav, subwoofer, bunch of other stuff. As mentioned above, how often do you buy a car? And what is $2,000 over the course of a lifetime? No regrets here. I say go for it.

Just think the Touring looks so much better, regardless of whether you want the added features or not.
