I'm not sure to be honest...I just installed what was provided.
The plastic pipe is the stock tube, the silicone one is the eventuri pipe that comes when you now buy the kit. The first kits didnt come with the silicone tube, but now they already send the kit with the silicon tube. At least that was my case

Placed an order through Evasive for Eventuri’s updated V2 MAF tube and CF Charge pipe. ETA August hopefully.

Suggest checking with the seller. Would imagine new Eventuri intakes would come with the V2 MAF, however there may still be some V1’s out there still.

Wait if I buy the intake now I don’t get the v2 maf ?

Is this the gap Eveyrone is talking about ?

I’m not sure if this even is a gap...

I installed it smoothly and can’t imagine it being installed wrong...

Sounds nice but seems like I lost tiny but top end but gain low end, boost hitting at 22psi

Btw I have an extra NEW eventuri silicone hose!

My sales rep wasn’t aware it came with it and sold it to me on top of the intake :/

I’m asking 60$ shipped!

Messaged eventuri myself and they said that gap is just part of the tolerances in manufacturing.

And the hood close seals it.
