According to Paultan.org and Pakwheels.com, Europe will get 2 engines in Honda Civic 2016 (All-Turbos). The 1.0L T producing 127bhp and 200 Nm of Torque

What's amazing is that the 1.5L Turbo of Europe Produces a power of 201bhp (174bhp American) and 260 Nm of Torque). It also features VTEC which the US version doesn't.

201bhp in Europe I'm pretty sure there is no "American" conversion. It looks like the euro motor has vtec added. Does the euro market get an Si?

If the engines are the same exact specs, why is the North American 1.5L turbo being detuned.

27hp difference significant... thats a 15% power difference.

My guess, and I have no idea if this holds up at all, is we might see the Si in the U.S. get that version of the motor with a manual trans.

It makes sense, the non Si models get the turbo without vtec or manual. The Si gets the 1.5t with vtec and a manual trans.

There's a significant gap. I dont know why. I'm atleast happy getting the Turbos only
1.0T takes down 2.0L NA in torque
1.5T (euro) is the biggest of all. (exclude Type-R)
