EP3 Type R Power loss help

Hi ukep3, what’s your symptoms? Mine is fine when the engine is cold, it pulls three the gears as it should but as soon as it starts to get warm it ( around the time the vtec starts becoming useable ) it feels like it loses 70-80% of its power! On and off vtec

Same symptoms like yours when the engine cold the car is ok,but when it get warm feel like losing power.my tps sensor was bad i changed it with the throttle body together and the car was very good like never before,but just only for a week.i will pick up the new plugs today and check the compression.do u have any codes?

Ahh ok, no mate got no codes at all. Replaced both o2 sensors and cleaned vtec solenoid and still the same, fresh oil change and still the same and yesterday replaced spark pugs and it’s still the same

I replaced the spark plugs all was white like a snow and it was oil on the coils and on the spark plugs as well.i can't get compression test today all the garages are closed

Just tested my toe with volt meter, throttle closed its showing 0.53 and open its jumping from 5.80 to 6.00???

I think thats too much.0,48closed 4,50 open,but not sure

Yeah just looked it up, it should be 0.50 closed 4.50 open.

Closest I could get it is 0.42 closed - 4.50 open and it still feels the same

Yeah all good over all 4, going to check timing chain and do valve clearance now, any luck with yours mate?
