Hi all,

I lost my engine underbody aluminium shield last winter and I was looking for aftermarket replacements as I didn't want to pay $200 for the thin aluminium one again. I came across this on eBay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Honda-...d-Guard-Mudguard-Black/192942772899#vi-ilComp

Which seems to be flexible too, as opposed to the aluminium. My question is has anyone installed it? If yes what are their thoughts on it? Would it fit my 2016 EX-T coupe?

Thanks

I have an OEM aluminum one I'll sell for 50+ shipping from 92649 in CA. Don't know about aftermarket options, I'm planning on making my own steel plates for the under body. DM for info.
Edit: I'm assuming the hatch will fit coupe. Honda stopped warehousing this plate locally, so I picked it up from a parts dealer as a generic civic undertray cover.

Did you go to the dealer for oil change, or other job ? Often read here, many dealer forget to screw shield safely .

My only complaint about this aftermarket panel is that it looks to be lacking the OEM NACA ducts that provide engine bay cooling/airflow. If Honda is adding air ducting its for a reason, they could have just as easily made it perfectly flat and saved time on the tooling.

Mine was missing when we bought the car. Someday I'll ask if the dealer service department or local oil change place has any. Usually techs take them off and never replace them.

Do you still have the shield? I'd buy if possible.
