This is a little comparison I made for the lols. It’s most of the drivetrain combos for the Civic X. Crank Dyno (theoretical) and Wheel torque vs Wheel speed (theoretical)

One of these things is not like the other.
definitely a big gap between the LX, Sport and vs TYPE R. I always thought it was too much of a gap. And now I see it is.
I wish they had a good 230-250hp 250-270lbft option.

Maybe the Powertrain from the Acura TLX K20C6 will make it to the Integra to fill the gap. 270hp 280lbft
I want a 2.4L NA VTEC (not that i-vtec bullshit) with a modest 275 or 300+ with the Type S please. Obviously it'll never happen with the Type R's K20 engine being readily available but I can hope. As long as it's not a TLX clone and isn't the 1.5T L15 engine I'm happy.

Would be really wild if they gave it the V6, AWD from the TLX Type S but then it would lose it's identity of being one of the best handling FWD cars to have ever been made. Also bring back double wishbone suspension!

Unfortunately k24 has been dead for a few years. But I agree. And they likely won’t put AWD or a V6 on the Small sedans. And make you pay extra for the bigger ones

Yep. Everything is 4cylinder turbos now for emissions and mpg. I get 23 in my civic because of my driving habits. I can get up to 40+ but I don't particularly like driving like a grandmother. Yeah Acura being a luxury brand and all. I'm calling a $41,000 price tag on the Type S when it comes out and it'll still be slower than the Type R.
