Yesterday I added 2 gal of e85 even tho I don’t have a flex fuel kit , I did top off with reg 91 . I drove the car for about 50 miles and no problem I also cleaned my washable intake filter and installed back up , it was a little damp but I read that it was no issue.

this morningwhen I cold started the car it sort of struggled to stay on almost like it might not be getting enough gas or air, and the light turned on, i drove it 15 miles to work and it ran just fine but the light stayed on ?

Your check engine light is on. Scan for error codes via the OBD2 port and you'll know exactly what is going on.

It looks like this is the issue ,
Error Code P050A is defined as Cold Start Idle Air Control System Performance.

I would check the air filter and the air filter housing
Yea I’m starting to think it’s the filter , might be damp from the wash and prevented the proper amount of air the engine needed to start properly

I'm assuming you're running a tune. You should post a datalog here if possible.

2gal of e85 may be too much depending on your local gas station's blend.

1.5 gals can raise the normal E10 to E19. I actually did this today.

It probably has nothing to do with your ethanol but rather with your air filter/intake. How little damp was that filter and how can this not matter?

Looks like it was the filter, the light went away when the filter fully dried
