From what I hear from other owners, it's almost identical to stock feel, zero chatter, and zero lockouts.

From what I hear from other owners, it's almost identical to stock feel, zero chatter, and zero lockouts... This is based off what iv'e heard of the full face organic clutch with lw flywheel. I don't really have any other info on the others they have. Although there is another thread on the organic 6 puck clutch + lw flywheel you can look into as well.

$1500 for a clutch is a LOT of money. I am not saying that it is not worth it due to the custom work required, I am just looking at my options for getting a clutch INSTALLED for $1000-1200. Can't seem to find enough of a consistent opinion of which clutches are a good replacement for the stock clutch.

I haven't seen any good clutch kits (clutch + flywheel) for < $1000, much less installed by a shop for that price. I look at it this way: if you are paying ~$1000 for a clutch, what's a few hundred more for a clutch that you know you won't have issues w/ and will last a long time, like the retrofit option.

I think he just wants the clutch, not flywheel. Then it is a pretty big difference in price. You can get a fx-400 installed under 1k. CTR retro will run you around 2k after labor

As expensive as it is I wouldn’t buy anything but the retro. I had a cm fx350 on my car and it started slipping at like 35k miles on it, 40 highway miles on my daily commute, no track time and No launching. Paying for clutch labor a second time is way worse then buying the expensive option the first time around.
