Electronic E-Brake issue after brake job

I took it apart today to take a look at it, no loose wires!

On the passenger side (E) there are two wires white on top, and black on the bottom

Could it possibly be reversed on the driver side? Black on top and white on bottom??

Getting pretty frustrated-- I wish it was a simple hand brake!

I took it apart today to take a look at it, no loose wires!

Oh what I meant was when I pulled the wires/connectors out of the harness maybe when I put them back into the harness I put them in the wrong way? I'll get some pictures soon

PLEASE IN HAVING THE SAME EXACT EQUAL PROBLEM ! I did do my tears breaks and I pulled of the black and white wires now I’m having the same error even though I plugged them back on. The little
Motor sound for about 5 seconds and same problem just exact as you described please tell me what you did to fix it I’m still trying to get rid of it

I always find it annoying when people post threads about issues their having, they expect people to help them out, but then they dont even update their own thread with an end result. Seems inconsiderate as a lot of people might be having the same problem.

Sounds like the identical issue on my Type R except I did not disconnect any of the wiring. I wonder if spinning the electronic parking brake actuator would work.

On page 6 of the PDF file attached in post #8 of this thread, under the Without Using the HDS, did you guys do step 2? It says turn vehicle to ON (but do not start).
