I'm sure this is something many of you Type R owners have been waiting for - a quality set of lowering springs! These Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs will lower the front and rear of your Type R by 1 inch, which is a near ideal amount for most customers.

Check out the below pictures for how your Type R will look after installing them.

There’s two threads up on this already.
Yes, but they're finally out and in stock now! Sometimes these parts get delayed for a long time before the final release.

UPDATE: Well, some bad news: Eibach dropped the ball on this one. No one will be getting the production version of these springs until November :( We'll update our site when they actually come in stock.

Do you know if they're planning on releasing the sport line springs for the CTR? Would like some springs around a 1.5 in drop.

Yes it will void the warranty
You should explain it in a little bit more detail instead of just saying yes.

If the dealer has deemed that the spring was the root problem of the reason why you took it in for warranty they can deny you. The dealer has to prove that the part you installed cause the problem for them to deny a warranty. If your power window stops working and you take it in, you won't get denied. However, if you take it in for damper problems, there is a possibility that you can get denied.

^ This is a better answer for the warranty issue, as it represents what the actual law is (see the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 to be specific). In all likelihood this would only affect your damper warranty. It would be difficult for a dealership to reasonably prove that the springs affected your power windows or engine internals.

I think 2.0'' is a bit too much. Can you keep the OEM shock absorbers?

It will void any suspension related issues
Only if the dealer is honorable, if not, everything suspension related, they (dealer) will rope in with the spring...
Also, I think most dealer are banking on the fact that very little people will take the legal route, as the legal fees most likely will cost more than the repair.

EDIT: another one of those "pay to play" situation, no?
