A little late on this one.... Truth be told, we also have a Ford Focus ST that started getting quite a bit of attention around the point we stopped on this thing. We still have the Civic and have just started cranking out some good stuff. Stay tuned. You can also check out our YouTube and IG for more info. But we'll start to post updates here soon, possibly even tomorrow.

Ha! Modding is expensive for sure. But our issue is the $$$ and time went into our 630whp Focus ST for a little while. But we're back into the Civic and will be posting some cool stuff soon.

Wheels are on! Here are the specs of the wheels and tires for those interested in this size.

SSR GTV01 in Flat Black
18 x 8.5 +40mm Offset

Kumho Ecsta V720 Tires
245/40R18

Overall weight is only 0.4 more lbs for the entire wheel and tire together. Not bad for going plus one size on both the wheel and tire.

I know this is a super old post, but I stumbled across this and loved where your wheels sit in relation to the fender. However, I've fallen in love with a particular wheel that doesn't come in a 8.5 width. What offset would I need to push it back out to make up for that?

What's the wheel width?

Lol that would be an important detail. Oops! It's an 18x8.
10mm is close to 1/2 inch. 18x8 +30 would give similar fitment as 18x8.5 +40. That would also be the fitment of running 20mm spacers on stock wheels (which gives a flush look).

Here’s a pic of 20mm spacers on stock wheels, so 18x8 +30 equivalent.

Thanks! That helps a ton! And the offset wouldn't affect the tire fitment right? As in, I could place my current tires from the stock wheels on a new 18x8 wheel. Just wanna use them til they need replaced.

Stock wheels are 18x8 and offset would not impact tire width. Yes, you can use the tires you have.
