You need to manually add the PID in Torque.
Go to Settings->Manage custom OBD2 PIDs and use code 0167 for Engine Coolant Temp. I also have Intake air temp configured, which is PID 0168.
Then you'll have these in the list of sensors that you configure as usual.
Finally got around to doing this. With a $10 OBDII adapter and $5 on the Torque app, I now have working ECT and IAT1/2 gauges. Thanks to the people who helped.

Is your OBDII adapter WiFi or USB? I'm using a USB, but currently Torque won't stay running. I may attempt a re-install.

I didnt read all the comments, but anyone that says the dash gauge is enough, sure, it is enough for basic street driving but if you are tracking the car, I recommend having a real numerical value present. The stock gauge is slow to react until actual temps get dangerously high. I have seen over 240 degrees when the dash says it is not even 3/4

I have the Blue Driver scan tool. It is about $100 bucks and connects via bluetooth. You read the info via the app on a smartphone. The live data can show almost anything if there is a sensor for it and it’s supported. It will give you engine coolant temperature.
Do you have a link to that by any chance?

Interesting. I was unable to get my bluetooth one to pair with the head unit and switched to usb. What was the trick?
Oh, I'm running torque on my phone and tablet.
