Been awhile and don't remember the brand. Got them and returned to Pep Boys. The OEM tips are much more secure and cleaner so I went that direction.
Could you please post some pictures of your car with the OEM tips? Thanks!

Been awhile since I checked into this thread. I see ads at the bottom for various Amazon sourced tips. The
WHDZ Rear Exhaust Muffler End Tail Pipe Outlet Tips looks bad with the big bolts. But for $37.99....

Any non sport hatchback people find some good tips? Thinking of doing a dual tip on each side but can't decide to place them where the stock mufflers exit or at the edge of the centerpiece on the rear bumper on each side so they are a little closer together but not as far as the mufflers are.

Hey do you guys know if I install this and also use electric or duct tape to install and make sure it holds firmly; is that a good idea? or tape is not a good way to go? I'm afraid the tips will fall off from my EX-T

Not a good idea. The duct tape/electric tape will burn/melt and may cause fire hazard. Buy some other tips that fit properly.

Saminder is correct. Not a good plan.

I used a combination of star washers and lock nuts. No problems with them coming off.

I do notice some rust stains on my “stainless steel “ tips after this winter...

Did my touring today, bought Canadian tire ones, couldn’t be happier with the look - 3” out is just right. I was concerned with previous posts about them falling off, these ones only have set screws, no bracket with teeth to bite onto the pipe. I set them in place and center punched a hole where the bottom screw is, tapped to match thread size and the lower set screw goes all the way through. This way it will never fall off, also cut some of the angle off so the exhaust is better directed out then down.

Not bad. How does it look from under and a slightly lower angle? Did you wire up the 4th brake light? How did you get the red trim on the fins by the left and right reflectors?

Thanks,
That red trim is from autozone i just cut it to the shape of the rear reflectors.
I havent wired the 4th brake lights yet.
Honestly it doesnt look bad from a slightly lower angle. You can still kind of see underneath, but its better than the stock diffuser. These diffusers are styled and a bit taller than oem ones if you put it flat side by side

This looks really nice gives the rear end a sportier look, I am debating what to do with my 18 Touring sedans rear end. Spoke to a shop a week ago and $120.00 they will let me choose from an erray of tips and weld them on correctly so they dont touch the rear bumper. Sounds a bit pricey but for the job done right I would be willing to pay especially as I see some folks paying that for bolt ons purchased online.
