Did that work? I’m having the same issue and I thinkits the DW300 failing.
Replacing it with a stock pump? Yeah I haven’t had a fueling issue since and that was 2 years ago now I believe

From what I understand the benefit of using the 300 is the contacts can withstand higher concentrations of ethanol. The stock pump is only good up to 20% concentration before contacts begin to corrode. It’s not about the flow so much.

@Mprice504 Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but did you fix your issue with the DW300c? Need to replace mine and would like to avoid issues if this pump isn't sufficient.

It ended up being my XDI HPFP because I starved it out from the bad install of the DW300 not stacking the O rings and only using 1
Thanks for the reply! So you used 2 orings on the DW and all was good?

And I’m still going thru it because XDI is rebuilding my pump and I haven’t gotten it back yet. Sucks but they’ve been great the whole time with everything. Props to XDI

Yes that’s how you’re supposed to install it. Pepo knew exactly what it was. It’s a common mistake
Rad, thank you for confirming! Hope you get your pump back soon, XDI is a great company.

Did anyone need a tune for a new LPFP. I’m having issues with my lpfp right now and the only thing stopping me from getting it is the possible issues with voltage and if I need a tune. Already have a custom one with drob trying to avoid paying for a recalibration tune.

I ended up going with the AEM pump, installed and worked straight away, didn't need to adjust tune.

What model number AEM and did you gain any additional flow switching to it?

Damn appreciate the fast response.
I was also considering aem as a possible replacement.
So no electrical issues or fitment?
If you don’t mind maybe link me the specific pump because I found a few fitments/different types on MAPerformance.
And was this on type r or non r?
Sorry for all the questions!

Yes, gained additional flow. Was seeing fuel pressure drops above 5k RPM WITH the XDI pump. I also modded the fuel line. No more pressure issues.

Type R - No electrical issues. I went with the 50-1215, but I believe the 50-1220 is a better fit.

I have a non r so I hope fitment is similar.
I believe r’s use 20 amp fuse for the fuel pump so I can match that if it’s not like that on mine if I have issues I suppose.
Hopefully don’t have to replace the relay either.
Ima try to find some specs when I get home from work to narrow it down.
Not really familiar with the electrical layout.
