I've been looking for door sill protectors for my sedan for a while. I don't want any stickers or metal strips. Has anyone find something nice that doesn't wreck the paint? Magnetic strip or something?

I was in the same boat also. Wanted something low key and subtle so ended up using Xpel PPF instead. Turned out pretty decent and you wouldn’t know it was there if you weren’t looking for it.

Is Xpel better than 3M?

Honestly not sure. I don’t have experience with 3M but the Xpel I used seems to be pretty durable. I’m sure they’re both comparable though in terms of quality.

The 2022 Civic Sedan has non-illuminated door sill film available from College Hills Honda. My question is, are the door sills the same or very similar dimensions?

If so, I'd purchase these and install them as my '07 Civic Coupe got scratched up over 14-years. Cost of the film is about $80.00 less shipping. The film is black with silver accents and should look great on a silver car. Here's the link. https://www.collegehillshonda.com/11thgen-honda-civic-sedan-accessories/08P04-T20-100.html
