Does my car have a factory amp ?

Hi there. How do I tell if my car has a factory amp fitted.

I have a UK spec sport model with basic stereo and sat Nav.

I have a tweeter and mid bass in each door and no sub.

Any ideas.

No amp, the model with 8 speakers have no amp, and the model with 11 speakers have amp.

I'm basically trying to work out how to connect my amp without cutting any if the wiring.

Connects2 are adamant that the do not sell a t harness for my car as it has a factory amp. I was pretty sure it didn't.


Any ideas how to get the amp wired in

The Canadian spec Sport seems the same.

Looking at the Metra site, the AXLOC-HN3 is a line-out converter that goes behind your head unit and should do the trick.

I recently saw a thread here of an extender for the Accord that would work, found on eBay. Short of that, I think the Metra 71-1731 and 70-1731 harness adapters should have both sides of the speaker harness, and should be usable to tap into the speaker wires without cutting into the factory harness

Hi is you sort your amp ? How u connect?did u connect speakers? Im just want connect speakers only i fit Focal 165as
