All my previous cars with CC worked similarly. After setting speed click 1x and you would go up or down 1mph. One click to adjust speed gets me nothing. I have to press and hold the button and response can be random. Is it broken or does it just suck?

2019 CTR

I tried to update title to add CTR but can't figure out how
I have thought this for so long! I love how my previous cars one click = 1mph. This is one of my major annoyances with the car. luckily a small one

oops this is super old my bad, so old that annoying ass ctr mofo wasn't banned yet lol

This thread was all I could find on the issue so I need to do a mild revive.

On cruise control, clicking up a few times will increase speed by 1mph and like others have said, it takes more than 1 click to do it, annoying but works I guess.

My main issue is slowing cruise down. Clicking down multiple times does nothing, if I hold the button to slow the car down, it will slow down but then speeds back up to where it was set after I let go of the button. The only way to select a slower speed is to cancel it, slow down and set again. I thought something was wrong with the cruise but I guess everyone is still having the same issue and there is no fix? 2019 made 11/19.

I treat the cruise controls like the throttle. Thinking of + like applying throttle and - as taking my foot off the gas

The CC on this car sucks. It's a guessing game to what speed you'll land up on honestly. Much easier to just cancel and set the speed with the gas manually.

Yeah it's not as intuitive as something this simple should be. I don't bother using it anyway as there is ALWAYS someone ahead who goes slower or can't go through a simple bend in the road without braking or letting off the gas.

On a long road trip, especially if it's very late at night/early in the morning when there isn't traffic would be the only time I'd use it.

I wonder if that was one of the things updated on the 2020s because mine goes up or down 1 mph per click.

Same. I'm guessing the ACC has different software controlling it and the issue was fixed.

19 CTR here and have this issue. It does bother me as I have a daily 70 -mile mostly highway commute and hate having to play with the CC like this.

It is kinda funny and sad how something small like this can make a big difference in daily enjoyment of the car. Im surprised Honda decided to go this route on the 17'-19' CTRs when my 2012 CR-V is 1 mph per click as well. lame

This really confuses me, I've never had a problem with it in either of the Type Rs I've had. I'm wondering if it's a MPH thing as everyone who's commented is American. Every click of the button goes up or down 1 KPH for me, so maybe that has to do with it?

Sorry if this isn't really helpful, just thought I'd throw that idea out there.

2020 Cruise control is great - but that's because it uses Honda Sensing.
One click - 1km increase
Holding - increments of 5km.
There is a readout with the selected speed.
