Well I didn't quite dodge it haha, lucky to be alive though. Caught it on the freeway and gunna be needing a hood replacement. What're your thoughts on the;

Evasive Aero Hood

Varis Hood

J's Racing Hood

The things I worry about most is rain in the engine bay destroying stuff even though we don't get much rain in SoCal. Also would I need hood pins or would I be ok without? (Do have moments of excess speeds of over 140) Thanks for anyone and everyone's input!

Very lucky hit. Is your eyebrow damaged? Glossy black plastic tends to show those types of things better.

That shit coulda killed you. I’ve heard of chains being kicked up by tires and decapitating people through their windshield.

Road is a dangerous place

Eyebrow and bumper... Going to talk to the auto shop and request everything to be replaced instead of fixed.

Most insurance companies would likely replace the eyebrow for sure. The hood as well too I think... I feel like the damage created might affect latching which the insurance company definitely doesn't want to risk.

Good lort that’s quite a catch. Glad you’re okay. My pick is Varis!

Wow, what a lucky dodge. Did it drop off a truck or was it just sitting in the road and got run over by someone in front of you?
