Do Canadian dealerships use refurbished parts?

Do you guys know if Honda dealerships (in Canada) use refurbished parts?
I am going in this week to replace the infotainment head unit this week.

Hmmmm, not sure. Maybe worth just asking them straight up.

They replaced the head unit yesterday. I asked the service adviser about this and he told me they are all refurbished. Not sure if any truth on this.

I got the car back and the head unit looked new with a plastic sheet on top. If it is refurbished, I cannot tell. Surprisingly, all my settings like GPS recent addresses, radio presets remain intact. Guess they changed only the display unit.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a refurb. Most do look like new. But im sure any mechanical parts on the car are not refurb.
