Haven't found any suitable topic, so Im going to write it here.

Anyone retrofitted restyle dashboard to old Civics?

So I got 17 Civic Sport and I have this dashboard (photo from the Internet):

Does anyone make plug and play adapters for this mod yet? I would love to pay premium if needed for adapter that just works right away without any hacks or extra mods from my side...

The only thing still not working is the camera. I decided to fix it this weekend.

Could anyone please share his solution where did you find a signal for enabling "R" gear? I've found the correct pin for the camera, "R" signal is the last thing blocking me.

So in case anyone interested, I took the rear signal from the fuse box under the dashboard.

Everything works!

On my way with swapping dashboard and K20C into FK7.

Hello, I have questions for you. I have a 2019 LX civic with an old unit but a new speedometer. Is it possible to connect this to a new unit?
Another question for people who have replaced the equipment, can you change the temperature units on the display and does it change on the air conditioning panel? (I mean changing F ° to C °) because in the speedometer and radio options it is not possible to change this value. Or maybe one of you replaced the old air conditioning panel with a new one?

The 5"Inch non touch does not integrate with the Instrument Cluster.

You can't change the units, you need the correct part number from a country that uses the unit you need.

Thinking of creating a plug and play harness for this upgrade. Would anyone be interested?

Yes a lot of people on here would be definitely interested in this tbh. Would pay top dollar for one.

Finally have my stereo coming in the mail, a whole year after I decided to do this upgrade. Before I get started on this, what gauge wire did you guys use for the newly built harnesses?

I've got all my pins and housings and other gubbins, although if I wind up hitting a wall I will be happily taking @Zed up on that PNP harness.

I'm also planning on writing up a slightly more comprehensive tutorial for everyone (with more pictures) because reading through every single post in this thread for the info can leave you a little cross-eyed.

Before I made myself a plug and play harness I was using 30 AWG wire. Even that guage of wire is sufficient, we are not talking about a large magnitude of current here. Although I would suggest you use a PVC based insulated wire as opposed to a silicone insulated one. Silicone wire tends to promote static which is a big no-no when it comes to radio applications.

Installed my stereo today, and I'm happy to report it's working right. I couldn't get the reverse signal to work at the fusebox, so I took my wire down to the kick panel and had success splicing into the turquoise wire there. Next step is to cough up the money for an AM/FM tuner, then I can install that and I'll be all set.

I'm working on a set of very comprehensive instructions-- with photos. Hopefully they will make the difference if you want to do this and don't feel confident. It's not as hard as it looks.
Should I post my guide in two parts, or wait until I put in the AM/FM tuner and post the whole thing at once? (I do live in the LA area, but with the right guide I don't think you'll need to call me.)
