So I finished the entire downpipe install no problems. But now when I put this heat shield back on. I got the top bolt in, but the bottom 2 are at least 2" from the threaded part of the downpipe.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the exact same problem.

The front pipe is the hardest to install. That connection to the exhaust. Prl’s welds encroach onto the Bolt holes. Nut doesn’t sit flush. Also hard to get a wrench behind it to hold the bolt while the nut gets tightened.

I got the FP and DP in super easily. Has anyone actually gotten the OEM heat shield to re-install?

Bump!
Who's gotten all the bolts on the OEM heat shield to successfully line up on the V2 PRL catted DP? @PRL Motorsports has anyone else had this problem/a solution?
I was just going to get different sized bolts for a workaround... what's the bolt size/pitch for the DP heat shield?
Thanks!

I cannot get all my bolts to line up on DP heat shield. Theres one that doesn’t line up. I’m not worried about it. Doesn’t appear to be an issue or cause any rattles.

Remove the bracket that holds the o2 sensor plugs and then the heat shield for the downpipe will fit snug and then reinstall the o2 sensor bracket.
