How did you get the trunk one out? I can get into the opening to feel the clips, but pushing on them barely moves them. Any easy way to unclip them?

I went out and tried to find an easier way and this way is way easier. Stick a flat head screw driver at the spot where I have mine. It should press the clip in a little bit and the lens should fall. Sorry I wasn't too clear about it before.

Cool, thank you! I'll have to try a flathead back there to see if I can get it out. The interior bulbs were super easy. Thanks for posting this, by the way. Really helpful!

Thanks for this! I don't have my CivicX yet, but want to do this first thing..

The interior lights in my Element fade on and off... Don't they in the Civic, too? Your LED bulbs can handle it?

so far the bulbs are doing great. I left them on for about 10 minutes today while sitting inside messing around with the audio and they lit up perfect.

This would be the first time I've ever done a mod. Blue or white LEDs or try them both and see? Got my Touring yesterday and still figuring it all out.

White would be more of a crisp looking light. The blue may not shine too much. And if you for any reason need to turn your map lights or dome lights on when driving, the last thing you want is a cop pulling you over for "intimidating" a police vehicle with blue lights.

Look great man! Very Very nice!
Thank you! I wouldn't have done it without seeing this thread.

That screwdriver trick on the trunk light made it 100x easier. Took seconds to get it in and out.

I surprised myself this morning when I turned the car off while it was still dark. Not used to how bright they are yet haha.

How many bulbs are needed for the cabin? I know the map lights take two, but not sure about the rear.
