I like those a lot actually. If I were to get them I’d only use the turn signal portion but I love the design.
These cap ones much better, just replace the original cap and wire up the leds. Definitely much easier install

Thank you for the write up. I just finished installing on my CTR. I used different part numbers for the mirror housings since I did not want the chrome nor do I have the lanewatch camera.

Hi, I am new to the forum and was looking to add the Mugen turn signal mirror to my 2018 si. I noticed you installed to your Type R. Looks great. Can you share with me how you did the electrical install? Did you need to run wires, tap into existing turning signal electrical? I am lost. Can you help? Thanks

@Hlee

Everything I needed to install the Mugen mirrors and the turn signal housings are contained in this thread and the following thread: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/mugen-hydrophilic-led-mirror-install.40579/#post-678940

For the turn signal positive wires, I ran it from the mirror to the fuse box via door grommet. Which wires you need to tap is also located in this thread. The ground wires, I tapped the black wire of the window switch.

Thanks for replying. I will give this a shot once I get the mirrors. The installation on the turn signal housing seems a little intimidating and I might pass on that one. The mod you did on your car looks fantastic. Just wish I had the patience and the know how like you to tackle the turn signal housing install though.

Thank you. IMO, you should convert the housing at the same time. If you just install the mirror and run the wires, you still need to disassemble the mirror. Adding the housing and LED signal is just one small extra step that takes less than a minute, because you are essentially replacing the new housing upon reassembly.

You might have just talked me into it. Now, my si have a lane watch camera on the passenger mirror. Will that be an issue? Do know if the Touring model's right mirror come with lane watch camera and the led turn signal housing? I like to keep the lane watch camera feature and add the turn signal housing. Did you leave the heated mirror on your car unwired? My mistake asking about the timer module. I know these heated mirrors are controlled by some type of switch timer, but can't figure out how to wire it up. I have a Honda Pilot that has switch that turns on the heated mirror, but it shuts off after a certain amount of time.

You will need the following OE parts:

(QTY-1) 76205-TEC-Y11 (Right Housing)
(QTY-1) 76255-TEK-M01 (Left Housing)
(QTY-1) 34300-TBA-A01 (Right Turn Light Assembly)
(QTY-1) 34350-TBA-A01 (Left Turn Light Assembly)
(QTY-1) 76206-TBC-A11 (Right Wire Harness)
(QTY-1) 76256-TBC-A11 (Left Wire Harness)
(QTY-4) 90109-SAG-H01 (Tapping screw 4x14 truss)

Then follow the instructions in this thread. The first two part numbers are different from the original post because they do not have the chrome strip. If you want the chrome strip, use the part numbers in the original post. The right housing has the lane watch.

That is awesome. Thanks for the list. Saves me some time. You have been a great help. Plan on ordering the Mugen mirrors directly for Japan.

So this mirror housing is the one to get if you don't want chrome strips on the mirrors... I just checked part numbers and they are the same as chrome.... anyone know the part number for these mirror housings?
