Disabling Music Metadata Pop-Ups on the Infotainment Screen

Does anyone know how to disable the metatada popping up on top of the Android Auto screen? Whenever I change songs with the steering wheel controls, it pops up its own Infotainment metadata...right on top of the Google Music Metadata ? It doesn't seem to do ot if I change the track from the controls on the bottom of the screen or directly on my phone.
