The civic is my wife's car, so I'm not as familiar as if it were my daily driver. Yesterday, she was in the passing lane with a cop (hee hee) tailgating her (yes, really). As she and the cop were overtaking a group of cars, one of them decided to cut over in front of her and the auto braking took over. Disabled her gas pedal for what seemed an eternity and the cop nearly rear ended her. She doesn't like the helpless feeling.... how do disable that feature on the 2016 touring model?
Another instance too... just as you enter a right hand curve in the road, the car is pointed across the chord of the road.. the radar sees the oncoming traffic and thinks it is in your lane... the system will tap the brake for you then too.
