The 10th Civic's torque limit is 220nm. Why can I achieve 5.8S 0-60mph without modifying the torque limit table?

Why do you think 220nm is the absolute torque limit? That's 162ft/lbs which is the Honda published torque number for a stock 1.5T...

And that's certainly less torque than a Ktuner 21 puts out.

That's certainly not the torque limit.
This is the raw data I saw in winols.

WinOLS is a different tuning software. Are you sure you’re asking question in the right area?

What we do is not public, if you're trying to replicate what we do in WinOLS for yourself. Do your own research. :)

Yes, I am researching, so I asked if you have modified the torque limit by default, whether it is in the safe range,
Hondata is a public setting, there is no default setting to change more than 250nm

I just asked if you have any changes, not specific numbers. :)

I think they got deeper than just modifing tables, and in the torque value they are using a different strategy if I remember correctly. Other than that is secret propietary sauce :)

Yes, if he wants to modify his own custom base rom with WinOLS he absolutely should do his own research. He's asking for information about what we do in the background so he can replicate it in something else.

Yes, do your own research. You think Hondata is sharing all of their trade secrets?

hey everyone, look at this misinformed dumbass who apparently wants industry trade secrets giving out. Heres an idea, email Doug @ that other company and see what response you get.
