Did I break my fog lights?

Really confused here. I was changing my front bumper garnishes on my 2017 hatchback to the 2020 version (highly recommend, looks way better), and when I was finished my fog lights no longer worked.

I’m confused because I didn’t touch the fog lights. It was a 5 minute job. Used a pry tool, unclipped the old garnishes, put the new ones in place, and lightly smacked the clips in place with the side of my fist. Could that be enough rattling to break the fogs? Compared to the pot holes I hit, I don’t see how...

I never came anywhere near the wiring. I didn’t even touch the glass of the fogs.

sounds dumb but did you make sure to turn the headlights on first? lol

There is a slight chance you may have pinched the wires together hard enough to break the insulation and blow a fuse I guess..
