I left the front Si emblem on for that very reason.
The rear Civic and Si emblem were taken off.
With the previous car, I debadged using dental floss.
How did you debadge?

Parked the car on the driveway on a hot day for a couple hours.
Then used fishing line to debadge.

I've been debating doing the same to my car. I think if you were to debadge an Si, this is the best option. The Si badge is minimalist, keeping it clean, and the red provides a nice little bit of pop to most colors. I think your pic finally convinced me to do it.
Good man!

What’s the best way to remove the Honda emblem? I’ve heard there are clips they hid it as well?? I want to avoid breaking clips, or scratching the car. Looking to replace with red badges

Yanked the 'Civic' letters off mine today. Hot day in St. Louis and a car with 4K miles made this a 2 minute job with just fingernails.

I like it with just the si on the back. I’ve always taken the civic lettering off the back. Looks too cluttered w it to me. No dealer cares about that. The civic lettering emblem is like $12 retail.

Yes and no.

I had a 2000 EBP Civic Si and I took the badges off. For that year, the EBP Civic literally ONLY came on the Si. If you took off the badges of that specific car, it wouldn't matter because it was blue. For my '18 Aegean Blue Civic, the ABM comes on other models so I'll leave these on this time. I'd only recommend taking the badges off for something that is limited to that car, much like the EBP Civic meant only a Civic Si.

I would have never thought of debadging the car. It is not cause I want to scream I have an Si. I just didn’t find it necessary almost all cars have badges with name and trim level on them. The only badges I ever remove are the stupid dealer badges, which luckily mine didn’t even come with since I don’t think they had time to do since I bought mine while it was enroute to dealer. I picked it up the day it arrived at dealer. Since I am an older fellow, the only people who notice it is an Si are other Honda Civic owners. The other people just say wow that’s a civic and don’t even know what an Si model is anyway. I don’t want to remove badges since eventually someone may care when I want to sell it 10 years from now.

I’m undecided on what I’m doing, but I think the red looks great on the blue. Dealer did the H(gave me the stock H), but I’m going to keep it along with the Si because of the red. “Civic” lettering may go soon.

Blue looks sharp! It looks so much cleaner w/o the civic lettering back there.

I thought blue was the worst color out of the bunch actually. But I saw it in person yesterday and wow I’m impressed, It looks sharp as hell.
