I've managed to install my Interior illumination kit ( 08E10-TBA-100 ) and I'm a big fan of how it just daisy chains into the AC controls to get power, in my Quest to find the pocket light for the center console areas from local junkyards who are less than willing to work with me, I'm tempted to buy another illumination kit and use that wiring and lights instead of the white bulbs ( id like them to be blue anyway ).
Has anyone ever:
1. Daisy-chained 2 kits together behind the dash?
2. Used illumination kit light assemblies instead of the white ones ( will they fit in the slots below the AC and in front of the shifter designed for the white ones / or is modification necessary to get them to fit?) I'm not opposed to breaking a tab or two and just attaching it behind in there.
I guess worse comes to worse the lights would dim if they are run in parallel.
