I've lubed, tightened, adjusted, its still noisy. There are reasons OEMs don't use solid bushings and rod ends for production cars.

I also DD'd mine, and also had it when it was broken(when the arms split), and that was even worse....

This year I've not autoX at all so I've been on stock rear bar all year and its night and day difference...

My Karcepts bar is quiet. No audible evidence it's there. Although, it's not a daily either.

Are there any other preferences outside of the Karcepts by chance? Are Eibach and Whiteline any decent?

The reason I was picking the AV6 bar was it was the same size as the Karcepts bar with one less adjustable slot. They also had similar soft settings in terms of lb/ft but the Karcepts stiffest setting was about 200 lb/ft more

The stiff end of the swaybar settings would unlikely be used unless you do other suspension changes. Either bar would work. The Karcepts does allow more adjustability though.

From prior readings in this thread, most people are running the Karcepts bar on a 3/2 or other middle of the road setting on everything except concrete (where they go full stiff), but I know it really depends on your personal driver preference. The other local CTR has been running full stiff on all surfaces to strong results, so it really just comes down to how much throttle oversteer you want.

I have the RV6 bar and have been very happy with it, especially given the price compared to the Karcepts. No noticeable noise for daily driving either.

Was able to get out for some more seat time this weekend. This course was unchanged from the Corvette Club that ran the day before, and the long straights really showed it. Quite bumpy on the back straight coming down the hill. All morning I was trying to find a way to hold it flat, but just couldn't find a way. Finally in the afternoon I just kept the foot down (second video).

Wow, that club uses a mass ton of cones. Even with that, white lines are added? Anyway, it looked like a lot of fun! I've spun my CTR just like that, so I guess it must be just over the limit of adhesion.

Karcepts bar is very noisy!

Your spin was due to lifting off the throttle while turning. Been there and done that! The stiffer the bar the more likely that is to happen. Next time you need to slow down and the rear end starts to come around, just give it a little throttle. The rear will pop back into line and you then you can lift more slowly. When you get it right having the rear come around is very useful for getting around cones!
I run the very noisy Karcepts bar at full stiff on concrete when temps are above 50F. In the wet or in the cold, especially on asphalt, I use softer setting (2nd hole from full soft on a 5 hole bar). I flip mine when I mount my gopro there can see a bit more in the video. Also forces me not to look back at a cone I might have hit lol

Our last event is next month. I've run all season on the stock RSB, and I've done pretty well. I've been wary of going to an aftermarket bar because this car is still primarily a backroad burner for me. The autocrossing is just a bonus. Those of you with the Karcepts bar: is the lift off oversteer too excessive for Tail of the Dragon style mountain roads?
