Something like this would not be detectable by observation. Unless you win at the Nationals and they're digging through the entire car, it will be fine. It's great that you ask. Sometimes we can get caught up in too much detail.
I agree. I just know I'm definitely not the only one who's probably had this question.

Now just to wait for blackfriday. I have a growing list of @ACUITY parts.

More than likely if protested, something like this may be a time penalty instead of a DSQ.

For 20% difference in spring force I don't even feel thats worth the risk...not that I even find anymore wanting on the shifter feel....

Now on my simrig's shifter, I want something like that...lol

You may be right. I do consider 20% to be quite large though.

I like mine. Needs to be greased a lot from dirty sites.

Last event of the season is Sunday. My RE-71R’s will likely last at least half of next season unless I get a track day in early spring (fingers crossed). This will be my fourth event on them and they aren’t even half worn yet. I guess I’m not driving hard enough. I’ve been kicked out of novice, so this is my first run with the experienced bunch. I’ve become completely addicted to this in such a short time. Such a great hobby. I’ve gotten 2 friends started on it also.

On a side note, really great to hear the entry numbers at events are high.

Not a great showing from me today. The course was wet for the first session and cold for the second. Never really got the tires to wake up. Still got 8th PAX. Got raw timed by an NA Miata in the last run group of the day when the temps were 15 degrees warmer. Oh well. On to next season.

Day 1 - 7th in pax. Day 2 I kept smacking cones. I stopped for a down cone on a run that felt really good. Looked at the data was 7 tenths up over my next fastest run. Really regretted stopping for that cone.

Also we mic'd up the engine bay and it sounds pretty dope
