I liked the mugen and wanted something a bit more low key.

CBP did the job

Also shout out to star smog alignment shop in bellflower. They can do your spring install, exhaust, kit install, alignment and anything else for the type R. They work on everything.

If I were to do a Mugen kit, that's probably the color I'd go with.

Looks awesome. That's exactly the look I'm going for, just slower due to how expensive the pieces are. I have the front in CBP installed. Eventually I'll get the sides and back too.

2 questions. What mirror caps are you using, or are they just overlays?
and 2nd, where did you get your JDM Access Fogs? Been trying to find the best price for them and the harness.

Looks great, I would of done the same if I had CW. I want the Mugen kit for mine but with it being CBP it wouldn't really make much difference on the car. Black hides detail

Mirror cap is actual carbon laid over OEM black mirror caps. So I had to physically swap it out.

Jdm fogs has been so long I don’t remember sorry. It could have been eBay but it was a Honda dealers account.

I love how my car still looks stock like a type R. I felt when it’s all CW it takes away from how the type r looks. Too much CW makes it almost looks like a body kit civic lol I don’t know that’s me. And this way tones down thanos chin, I was very against the rear until I went with all black

Front splitter and side skirts. Mugen also has garnishes that cover the top half of the fake front vents. The OP just got them in black instead of matching his car's paint color (I feel this actually looks better and fits the overall design of the CTR better).

I felt the black + body color was what differentiated the CTR from standard civics.

By color matching I felt we went away from what made the CTR unique. It almost looks like a kitted civic SI or something to me.

Anyways to each their own, I also wanted to be unique.

Yeah in person it’s menacing probably because of all the black....
