posted a few weeks back about some cvt issues and now I seem to be having some more and maybe my issues aren't really issues and it's just me, lately I've noticed more now when I come to a stop while hitting the brakes there's a slight bump before the car stops completely.. is this normal for a cvt? Also now I notice when I'm coasting my RPMs go up slightly rather than down.. any help here? Or is this just how this thing is designed?

Sounds pretty normal. At low speed, 5 mph or less, the CVT is just a little jerky. The rpm's go up on mine if I'm coasting downhill sometimes.

All CVTs are programmed differently. My dad has an Outback, I drove it for a bit through the mountains, its 100% smooth at any speed and in any driving situation. Same with a few Nissan rentals I had.

This one's fine until you're at low speeds. Stop-and-go traffic driving should really have been programmed better. I'm hoping changing the fluid will help some, a few people have reported that.
