Do anyone of you guys feel fake shifting when u do launch in S gear? I have felt this fake shifting n jerkiness which is kinda slowing down in 0-100kph timings, if there's no fake shifting which is better n does better 0-100kph. Any reason why it happened? Is it coz of high cvt temp?

somtimes when you traction control off position it stays on around 6000rpm and sometimes shifts like normal. i could not find how and why changes.

L mode it basically a traditional CVT feel without fake gear shift points. If you floor it, it keeps revs pegged very high and keeps on pushing. Not something you should use all the time but good for timed runs.

S mode just puts the revs a bit higher than D but I rarely use it. I just prefer D.

I don't have L mode either. I only have D and S. I never experienced jerkiness when in S mode. It was only in D mode when I kick down I felt a bit lag but no jerkiness.

Yea same here and i hate this, sometime it shift before 6k rpm and sometime it goes above 6k rpm, i dont know why it does fake shifting and i feel it got something to do with CVT oil temp.

same i felt D is quick in shifting but it lack power in drag race, not strong pull like in S mode.

I posted this query at Hondata website as well and I received a very quick response from Hondata team! Thanks so much Hondata!

This is Hondata official response to my query regarding CVT torque value limitation in Flashpro. To cut long story short, the value is confirm in NM and the variance vs. dyno is +/- 5 Nm.

Therefore, I'd suggest to follow Hondata recommendation to limit CVT torque below 250 Nm to avoid premature CVT damage.
Hi Arnoldo, if maximum torque is below 250nm, then on stock already the maximum, cause 1.5t Touring is 230nm. I do not believe that there is not at least 40% safety, in the value declared by honda. Most CVTs support more than 320nm. wouldn't this be the same?
