So it all comes out when changing the cvt fluid? And are using oem or aftermarket fluids?

Edit: sorry I never done any sort of this work on a car especially installing cvt cooler

The system holds 10 quarts but when you do a simple drain and fill not a flush it lets out roughly 4 quarts. I use amsoil cvt fluid as it’s supposed to have better friction modifiers to prevent the cvt belt from slipping. It has worked well for me but oem is good as well.

Thanks for the info! I'm thinking about switching to ansoil after installing the cvt cooler just because of all the quarts that have to be added

Not a problem. When I did the initial switch to amsoil I filled and drained it twice with 15 min of driving in between to get the most oem and old fluid out probably not necessary lol

I'll probably do that to be on the safe side tbh
