Hi all! I recently just hit 31k miles on my 2020 Civic hatchback sport and noticed that when I turn my steering all the way, it makes clicking noises. So I’m almost sure it’s the axle and I need to replace it. Anybody know where I can buy the part? My mechanic tried charging my $380 for EACH and I’ve seen videos on how to replace it so I’m planning on doing it on my own. But I’m not sure which would fit my car. I would love the help! Thanks!

I have trakmotive axels on my Civic. I tore my CV boots when I lowered the car. You can get them on Rock Auto for $80 a side.

If it is automatic and 1.5t I think that part number will fit. The other side part number is NCV36063 and it mentions the automatic transmission.

How has the part held up for you by the way? And did you replace it yourself?

Why is your car no longer under warranty? This should be covered under warranty
I’ve tuned the car and done modifications, so that voids the warranty no?

No. It wouldn't void all your warranty, only what you've modified. Also, they have to prove that your modifications caused the issue.

Don't go cheap on replacement parts.

Yes, if it doesn't say Honda OEM. I also bought aftermarket for an older civic and they didn't last. The second time I replaced them with used OEM ones for the same price and they lasted longer.
Where do you buy an OEM axle?
