Tough call, they are very different. S2K feels much more raw compared to the CTR. I'm going on 4 years of ownership on the S2K, compared to 1 year with the CTR and I honestly enjoy driving both equally. I like that I can rip around in the S2K and it feels fast, but really isn't (stock power level). The CTR on the other hand has me constantly conscience of my desire to not go to jail.

I have two friends w/S2000s and no Type R that fee like you do. One has a garage kept red one with over 200k miles and it looks as good as my ‘19 R (garage kept as of April, bought in Oct). I feel same way about R as you (Go fast but remember +15 over limit is wreckless driving, it’s low skill).

Thing about R though is first two gears are pretty low so unless wound out, it fits in accel wise with other cars. Due to its looks, many people accel to show what they can do in their stock (________ car, most often Kia Optima, Nissan Altima or mod’d RAM truck). Tempting as it is w/370 whp to make them small reflections I just chuckle 9/10 of the time. I have nothing to prove like they do, gets annoying sometimes though with side surging wannabe racers. I don’t think that flash factor is an S2K thing. Funniest are the deafening 5L Mustangs that can easily out drag an R (until turns) with their Gutteral SPL that says, no need to look, everyone within couple miles heard you.

I picked that up somewhere and given I'm a regular blood donor I found it extra amusing.

I don’t think any state (or Canada Province) would actually issue this personalized Type R license plate but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth trying. This expresses my feelings about a special tingling some get being in a Type R, it’s levels above fun, some people have never had one...
