I'm debating this bar to further stiffen my hatchy:

Cusco Front Power Brace

Anyone running it? What are the torque specs for those two bolts? Seems like a simple install

I have all 4 cusco power braces installed. Car feels solid when going over bumps and cracks. You know how ny roads are right now.

I have all 6 Cusco braces installed. I pretend I can feel a difference... That front brace requires you to cut 2 holes (one on each side) in the under plastic for that bar to fit through. No big deal, easy to install but also the only bar I scratched up getting in there. It will get scratched installing.

I have that $170 x brace in the post above but for $10 you can get the not as good OEM CTR brace, might as well try that. 50290-TGN-E00

I have both versions of the front bar on a 1.5t and a 2.0na, no cutting is required.

My si under plastic needed oval holes cut near mounting points for the bar to run above the plastic. Easy and looks clean. I'll take pics tomorrow. This seems required?

Fits fine on both cars. Would likely not have brought if cutting is required.

There's this front bar linked, rear bar that is similar, and the x brace at the front of the tunnel referenced are the 3 under the car. The front strut bar under the hood, the rear strut bar behind the seats either 2 point or 4 point ultra bar I'm using, and seat rail braces on driver and passenger seat counting those as one.

All Ultra Racing Bars on our cars. These are similar in design to them, and serve same/similar purpose.

Comes down to brand preference really
Ultra makes the only 4 point rear strut bar and it's great. Mine is an amp rack now. They also make a 2 point as does Cusco I believe. Or you can fab your own 2 point as a member here did a writup on. You could honestly fab your own rear bar under the car too, it's just as simple as the straight front bar. The seat rail braces are simple too.

Ultra racing was cool and worth it until about two years ago when the prices shot through the roof. I still have 3 of mine, as long as you know their 15 or 20 percent off discount code and spend I believe over 500 for the free shipping, then it's a good deal still.

Beat rush. Out of Japan has a similar brace to the one on the CTR, I used it for awhile. I have the invoice for it still in my car log folder, it's mainly in Japanese as most of my invoices are though if anyone is interested. I think it was like 42000 yen or 4200 whatever is closer to 50 bucks
