I voted no, but if an opportunity arises for me to upgrade to the limited edition 600 in U.S., I would at the very least consider it. Otherwise, I'm just eyeing the revised grille, and a few aftermarket options that I was eyeing already.

I really like what I have, and I'm not sure that I want to go through the new car roulette for a while.

I will be upgrading! My current type R is looking beat up anyways from daily driving it everyday since I got it in mid of 2017. Boost blue here I come if I can get it at $45k

I'm shocked to see what kind of markups you guys are willing to pay. Granted, the vehicle will hold its value better, but in order to capitalize on that you'll probably have to own the thing for quite some time.

I'm almost at my 1 year anniversary since buying my 2019 CTR. If I could go back to 1 year ago and share all of the info that I know now about the 2020 and 2021 CTR, I wouldn't have waited. I think the 2020 and 2021 are neat, but the limited 2021 will definitely be unaffordable due to dealer mark up, and the 2020 isn't worth $1500 more in MSRP + taxes + fighting mark up

The remaining 2019 CTRs in FL are still marked up throughout the state. I think the mark up will at least remain firm for the 2020s given the added tech and refresh front and rear bumper.

The 2021 limited will be impossible. Even if the MSRP was $40 or even $45k, dealers won't let them go without at least a 10k premium. Hell, they barely let them go today for MSRP nearly 3 years after the car was released.

Voted no. Aside from the boost blue and phoenix yellow color offerings, the refresh features are a nice touch but you can easily mod your pre 2020/2021 FK8 with OEM or aftermarket parts to achieve the same, if not better results to your liking.

As late as the 2020 came, but the time the 2021 releases I'll probably be more considering getting into a newer model.

Voted no. Looking at getting the grill and the rotors.

if you currently own a Type R I would say no its not worth the upgrade but if youre in the market for one its a good time to buy
Pretty much the gist of it. Only reason I could think of otherwise is being able to utilize the logging app (if we can’t get it on pre 2020 models). If the sensing is that important I dunno I’d almost be inclined to consider an Accord instead.

I see a lot of people saying "wow so much more for only 700$" - but if you think about it, its 700$ more than the 2019 which is the same car from 2017 - which in my area goes for 10k under current msrp (a used 2017 that is)

There were 2 things that would have really pushed me to a 2020 model. Power increase or some sort of exhaust tuning (lookin at you Veloster N). Since neither of those happened, will stick to a current model

Don't you mean 'Who's downgrading?' :)

More weight - nanny systems - vroom vroom noises from glove box....

Step in the wrong direction imo - hence me getting the 2019 end of the year.
