Has anyone noticed the hole in the cubby hole under the radio? I can see a number on a sticker. Maybe a way to identify the radio serial number or an accessory that my car didn't come with.

Ok...where is this, looking up from the cubby area under the radio or is this down below that where the USB and 12v outlets are?
Looking up from the cubby area under the radio. I just happen to feel it one day.

Isn't that just the opening for cables through the phone tray to the USB port? I could be wrong, can't really tell from your picture where it is. It just looks like a blurry hole with no context.

You can't see it, I felt it and placed my phone in the cubby facing up and snapped a pic.

It's an opening for the cubby light some trims are equipped with. I'm using that same hole to mount my ram x-grip phone mount. Turns out a 1/4-20 (I think that's the thread pitch I used) square nut fits perfectly in the plastic molding designed for that light
