Yes, illumination is an option. It makes no such indication that it would be the leather armrest though. I was under the assumption they would just add the illumination to a cloth armrest. Perhaps I am mistaken on that front though.

I don't see a part option for a cloth armrest for the illumination style anywhere. Part # for the armrest is available in leather only.

It fits 2017 Sedan. It's much easier than it looks. You just need a Philips screwdriver, a 8mm socket or open wrench and a trim removal tool or flat screwdriver taped at the ends. Everything goes together with clips. Read the directions backwards to reassemble or take pics each step you do. There has to be videos on YouTube on removintg the panels as well. Take your time though and allow at least a couple of hours to do.

12 pin connector pigtail from the harness connects to connector behind the climate control. The existing connector connects to the other end of the pigtail. The end of the harness connects to 6 pin connector on the fusebox. It also has a pigtail at the end if you have more accessories.

I did a PDI on a 19 ex Civic today. Heres the cup holders. I tried it in my 16 touring sedan. Fits well. It was 30$ my cost. it's got the fingers of other cars
Should make it easier to hold the smaller drinks that slop around in the old design.

You can order without the lights but you will have a gap exposing the screws where the light would be.

What is the part number? I'd like to order one lol... I don't want the whole console.. Just the cup holder part. Leather bits mixed with cloth interior is a no go for me... It would drive me mad things not matching lol

Darn, I really like the red LED and upgraded arm rest. Would look good on my 2018 SI. Sucks they say it won't work. Also stinks the stitching isn't red.
